What an examination usually recovers
A credit file tells you what was decided and which documents were on hand. It rarely tells you what was considered and rejected, which gap was raised and then quietly closed without evidence, or where the judgement was actually formed. That is normally reconstructed in an interview, months later, from memory.
What an institution working this way can produce
When you ask how a judgement was reached, there is something to produce rather than a recollection to reconstruct, and the material exchanges are kept verbatim in the language they were written in, never translated.
